Abstract :
Two realizations of a clock-generator circuit are presented a free-running clock generator and a self-controlled generator. The design target is to make the circuits independent of temperature and supply-voltage variations, as well as processing spreads. A modular design method allows the realization of a dedicated clock-generator function within a short design time.
