Abstract :
Based on the cylinder-grid model, i.e the combination of wave function expansion solutions of an infinitely long circular cylinder and the boundary condition point-matching technique, a general approach to the scattering calculation of arbitrary two-dimensional circular-cylinder-arrays is presented. Three numerical examples of typical scatterers are given, thus demonstrating that the analysis approach presented is useful for parametric study and the design of antennas and scatterers built of conducting cylinders.
