Abstract :
We analyze the influence of sidelobes on fiber-Bragg-grating (FBG)-based Q-switched fiber laser. Simulation results show the sidelobes of uniform FBG introduce undesired multiple peaks and decrease the output peak power. The experimental results confirm the simulation results.
