Abstract
Radiation from an electric dipole oriented parallel to the distinguished axis of a uniaxial bianisotropic medium is considered. The electromagnetic fields are represented in full generality in terms of two scalar Hertz potentials. An analytic solution for these scalar potentials is obtained.
