Abstract :
A new flyback transformer has been developed with a secondary coil that is divided into several windings which are connected alternately in series with the same number of high-heat resistant, glass-molded diodes has been developed. This new design results in improved voltage enduring properties, facilitates transformer insulation and permits efficient high voltage regulation in dc voltage generation. Overall transformer size and weight are also reduced, which saves space in television receiver sets.
