  • Abstract
We discuss about the smart antenna, which provides a solution that is both efficient in its use of the airwaves and more effective in its ability to deliver the signal. While smart antennas seem promising, especially on the level of the wireless LAN, they can´t solve the problem when it comes to overcrowding. We also discuss about the most hotly debated solution to the issue of airwave overcrowding agile radio and about mesh networks.
