New d.c.-d.c. convertor using square-loop cores and transistors

A d.c.-d.c. convertor that can control large amounts of power with high efficiency is described. A Royer-type invertor converts direct current to square-wave alternating current which is then supplied to a transistor-diode bridge rectifier, and the transistor on/off time ratio is controlled by an adjustable square-loop-core width modulator.
