  • Abstract
    LPMSCs are proved to be a flexible and efficient tool for the detection, timing and imaging of low ionizing radiation. They are already being successfully applied in nuclear and atomic physics research. The high efficiency of LPMSCs for the detection and imaging of single electrons have triggered several potential applications in UV photon imaging and in particle detection via direct ionization or secondary emission electrons.
