Abstract :
Radiation measuring instruments are central to any health physics program. As health physics programs come under scruting and tighter control, it is natural that the deficiencies in instruments become apparent. In several cases instruments lack the accuracy, sensitivity, ease of operation, reliability, immunity to interfering responses, etc. needed to adequately perform their job.
