Epri-Sponsored Demonstration of Signal Validation at BWR and PWR Nuclear Stations

EPRI and its contractors are moving on several fronts to demonstrate new signal validation technology and encourage its commercial deployment. Demonstrations at operating nuclear stations are under development. Both BWR and PWR projects are wide in scope and address many plant subsystems in support of pending SPDS implementations. Advice and critical review by utility advisory groups is an important feature of project management that will help to produce a deliverable that addresses real utility needs.
