Abstract :
Carpenter and Livstone´s experiments on beetle pupae are repeated and extended. In the experiments conducted, increased incidence of abnormal development occurred due to exposure to microwave energy, both CW and pulsed. This effect was observed at the power level of 8.6 mW/cm2. Measurements are reported which specify the microwave environment encountered by the insect.
