Abstract :
Simple expressions are derived which describe the transient behaviour of loaded active 2-poles. The growth rate and the frequency during the first phase of the transient are given, in terms of the impedance and its derivatives, with respect to frequency. The stability of the circuit to small changes in the load is also shown to depend on the derivatives of the impedance.
