Abstract
We present the experimental results of propagating an EMP-type pulse through a plasma-filled waveguide. Maxwell´s equations and the swarm equations are used to model this system. These equations are simultaneously solved using finite difference techniques. Although the theoretical model appears to predict the output electric field in the experimental system quite well at low plasma electron number densities, it fails as the number density becomes large. We speculate about the origin of this discrepancy.
