Abstract :
We are building a drift collection calorimeter, which has a combined radiator and electric field shaping structure made of fused lead glass tubing, treated in a H2 reducing atmosphere. We describe the construction detail of the calorimeter and the experimental mea¿ surements on several prototypes with radioactive sources and minimum ionizing particles.
