Abstract :
This letter presents a quantitative state-space analysis of a magnetically tuned coaxial cavity. The magnetic properties of a ferrite sphere and the behaviour of a coaxial cavity are described by a set of state equations. The resonant frequencies of the cavity-sphere configuration, evaluated using the state equations, show reasonable agreement with measured values.
