Abstract :
The weakly conditional stability finite-difference time-domain algorithm is extended to solve the electromagnetic problem in dispersive media in combination with the piecewise linear recursive convolution (PLRC) scheme. This proposed method provides the same accuracy as the PLRC approach yet requires shorter computational time than the RC approach.
