Abstract :
We have designed, built and tested 7 different Fastbus boards for the Collider Detector Facility (CDF) trigger system. Each of the boards has by necessity had a somewhat different Fastbus interface; two have block transfer and the number of registers per board varies. In order to facilitate design we have attempted to make schematics in ´building blocks´ so that submits of the interfaces are standard, and interfaces for new boards can be built up from existing schematics. The schematics are on a Telesis CAD machine.
