Abstract :
The UHF Mobile Relay Radio Station as it is applied to emergency medical service (EMS) communications systems in North Carolina is discussed. The system design concept, evolution, and rationale are developed. System equipment configurations and compatibility factors are determined as they relate to operational systems. Operating system models and diagrams are presented and analyzed.
