Abstract :
The 45° y´ cut modulators of Hookabe and Matsuo are optimised for the materials ADP, KDP and DKDP, and it is believed that the 37.0° y´ cut ADP modulator should be the most useful from this range. A practical model has justified the assumption that both r41 and r63 take the same sign for ADP and has also shown that piezoelectric resonances are slight for this design.
