Abstract
The problem of calculating current densities in a system of cylindrical shells is examined. The geometrical configuration of the system consists of a circular cylindrical shell enclosing a number of hollow circular cylindrical conductors placed in arbitrary positions. The calculation of the current densities is based on the solution of a system of integral equations. For the numerical solution of these equations the method of moments is applied. The forces acting on the conductors are calculated as well.
