Abstract :
This paper describes a new method to calculate the electromagnetic force acting between a high Tc superconducting material and permanent magnet, where the effect of a grain boundary in the high Tc superconductor is taken into account. The results show that hysteresis of the electromagnetic force is strongly affected by existence of the grain boundary
