Abstract :
The letter considers optimal-controller design for systems described by constant-coefficient linear-differential-difference equations. The performance-measure integrand is a time-weighted quadratic form in the state and control, and by virtue of a variable substitution, existing solutions for the non-time-weighted-integrand case may be applied.
