Abstract :
The stability of a practical wideband gyrator circuit is discussed. Its tendency to be stable is attributed to automatic neutralisation of the feedback capacity associated with the practical transconductance amplifiers. It is also shown that this built-in stabilisation is absent from a typical gyrator circuit incorporating emitter followers with the transconductance amplifiers.
