Abstract :
The paper describes a new design environment which enhances and simplifies the use of general purpose electromagnetics analysis software. The environment allows parameterization of a design so that dimensional and material variations of the base structure can be easily achieved. The model configuration is accomplished using variational geometry. The case of a permanent magnet motor is discussed in particular
