Abstract :
The nonlinear bandpass response of an analytic signal is evaluated and is defined by scaling polynomials as even powers of the real envelope. Bandpass asymmetry is shown to reduce the spectral complexity in the nonlinear transformation, suggesting merits in nonsymmetrical bandpass amplification.
