Regionaliser: a new nonlinear transformation convertor

A nonlinear transformation convertor is first defined. The new circuit element is shown to be useful for realising one-port and n-port resistors by combining piecewise-linear and rational function approximation techniques. Circuit implementations for the new convertor are proposed, and their experimental verification is shown to be in agreement with theoretical predictions. Se define un convertidor de transformatión no lineal. Se demuestra la utilidad del nuevo elemento de circuito para realizer resistencias monopuertas y n-puertas combinando técnicas de approximación por funciones lineales a tramos y por funciones racionales. Se proponen asimismo implementaciones para el nuevo convertidor y se demuestra que su comportamiento experimental concuerda con las predicciones teóricas.
