    We completed a readership survey that was tied to technology review articles published in the May/June and July/August 2005 issues of Computing in Science Engineering. This paper is part of our effort to engage readers in the iterative process of improving the usefulness of this magazine´s technology reviews. We understand that utility is related not only to the content´s relevance but also to its presentational format in the broadest sense, including organization, perspectives, and levels of detail
