Abstract :
In 1985, the Federal Communications Commission approved an amendment to its rules to provide for the evaluation of human exposure to radiofrequency radiation as part of its environmental processing procedures under the National Environmental Policy Act. This article, based on a presentation made by the author at the 1985 IEEE Broadcast Symposium, discusses the new rule and other related issues of interest to broadcasters.
