  • Abstract
    A recent correspondence presented a solution to the problem of detecting a sudden change in system parameters on the basis of noisy observations made on the system. The purpose of this correspondence is to show that the proposed solution reduces to the ad hoc "continuous test" proposed by Newbold and Ho.
