Abstract :
The main effect of switching a magnetoplasma medium is the splitting of the original wave (incident wave) into new waves whose frequencies are different from the frequency of the incident wave. The strength and the direction of the static magnetic field influence the shift ratio and the efficiency of the frequency-shifting operation. Frequency-shifting characteristics of the various waves generated in the switched magnetoplasma medium are examined
