Abstract :
A novel configuration using GaAs varactors in a balanced circuit configuration incorporating both coplanar waveguide and microstrip elements permits the construction of microwave frequency dividers which have near-octave divide-by-two bandwidth and excellent response to pulsed RF inputs.
