Abstract :
The paper deals with an important classification of linear reciprocal passive systems. Inductive and capacitive accretive operators are defined. They represent the most natural generalisation of the familiar RL and RC networks. A central theorem suggests how to generate inductive or capacitive operators from familiar RL and RC networks.
