Abstract :
<;Please reduce paper to 4 pages or agree to the extra page charge.> This letter addresses the problem of array failure diagnosis for a uniform linear array in the presence of mutual coupling. The excitation coefficients are found by sparse finding algorithm, and the estimation of mutual admittance matrix is facilitated by its symmetric Toeplitz structure. Because the excitation coefficients and mutual admittance matrix are dependent unknowns, an alternating optimization method is proposed to compute the two set of unknowns. Simulations show that the proposed method outperforms existing method when mutual admittance matrix is unavailable.
