Comments from the Editor, Jan. 1978

This Issue of the Transactions represents a milestone for me. Although I began my duties as Editor six months ago, this is the first issue for which I am responsible. I look forward to my tenure as Editor, appreciate the opportunity this position affords to contribute to the exchange of technical information among the microwave community. My view of "what the Editor does" has changed considerably in these past few months, and, it is with much deeper appreciation that I say to Don Parker, and all the Past Editors, "Congratulations, sincere thanks for a job well done."
