Abstract :
A 1-dimensional, single-parameter model is used to calculate the voltage induced by two acoustic surface waves propagating in opposite directions in a nonlinear material. A value of the single parameter for LiNbO3 is found to be K = 8±3 C/m2 from experiment at 150 MHz.
