Abstract :
The profile of a secondary mirror has been figured to compensate for errors with long correlation lengths on the surface of a parabolic reflector 2.8 m in diameter. At 34 GHz, a gain improvement of 2.9 dB was obtained, with a corresponding decrease in the sidelobe level close to the main beam.
