  • Abstract
    A recent paper by Babu [I] presents an upper bound on the probability of misrecognition in terms of Patrick and Fischer´s measure of distance. An error in the derivation of Babu´s bound is pointed out and a counterexample is presented. At the end, a proper bound on the probability of error in terms of Patrick and Fischer´s measure of distance is presented with an example.
