Abstract
The authors analyze the fluctuations of the potential difference between two parts of a metallic tube insulated from each other and through which there is the turbulent flow of a dielectric liquid. First, the phenomenon of the convection of the double layer appearing at the solid/liquid interface is discussed. Then, possible reasons for the potential fluctuations are proposed. Finally, details of the experimental rig are presented along with a discussion of the results
