Abstract :
Introduces the eigenvalue formulas for cellular neural network (CNNs) with positive-cell linking and opposite-sign-type templates by exploiting the Toeplitz-tridiagonal structure of the state matrix and then gives the convergency conditions for such CNNs. The existence conditions of equilibrium points for a more general type of piecewise-linear neural network have also been investigated
