Abstract :
The electronic threat to VHF tactical communications systems is reviewed, and possible counter-measures are discussed. The principles of the Jaguar-V frequency-hopping system are described, together with some aspects of the radio-system design and technical features of its implementation. Operational aspects of system performance are also discussed.
