Abstract :
Chrominance signal processing, for Home VCR including slanted azimuth recording types such as VHS1) or Beta2), is based on heterodyning down the color information. This method is called the Color Under method3). It is superior to other methods in its small occupied band width and low moire level, but it has the following disadvantages.
