Abstract :
Since the inception of color television twenty-five years ago, there has been a continual development of technology in the areas of electro-optic devices, materials for recording electrical signcils, and integrated electronic subsysteins. Advancements in these areas have made their way from the research laboratory into ancillary products surrounding the modern day television set. The color television screen is rapidly becoming the primary tool for machines to display information to man for entertainment, training, business, or personal reasons.
