Antenna near-field/far-field transformation with reduced data acquisition and processing requirements

A new approach to the prediction of antenna far-field patterns from near-field measurements is proposed which exploits certain attributes of existing techniques and avoids many of their disadvantages. The method offers substantial reductions in data recording and processing requirements and can provide predictions over all space. Experimental results are provided as verification of the process.
