  • Abstract
    A novel approach to the use of acoustic-surface-wave filters in the realisation of variable analogue delays is described. Maximum delays of up to several tens of microseconds have already been achieved in practice, and it is expected that engineered systems will have high dynamic ranges and low distortions.
