    Semi-custom integrated circuit component and gate arrays have been available for about 10 years. Early developments focused on the use of bipolar technology with heavy emphasis on linear applications. Recent developments with other emerging technologies have been more directed to the digital field. However the bipolar/linear applications have continued to expand at a steady rate with applications in many fields such as: Consumer Products Medical Applications Telecommunications Military Industrial Automotive Power/Servo Controls
