Abstract
In Reference I It has been shown that an underlying unity exists in switching-converter configurations and some new forms have been revealed. Principally, there is one central configuration, the Three-State Flyback Converter, from which six other three-state configurations may be derived; and from these three-state configurations a reduced, or two-state, form may be obtained. We, thus, get a total of fourteen configurations, each with a unique set of analytical relations, and the D. C. form of these relations was developed in Reference 1. Due to the mathematical differences in the relations, each configuration was labelled a Basic Configuration.
