Integral equation for the potential distribution in a Hall generator

Abstract :
It is proved that the potential distribution in a Hall generator is also given as the electrostatic potential caused by a fictitious charge distribution along the boundary. The problem is then reduced to an integral equation, which is easily solved on a digital computer.
