Abstract :
A recently developed bulk-wave equivalent-circuit model that allows the electric fields in a transducer to be arbitrary functions of distance along the direction of acoustic propagation has been adapted for surface-acoustic-wave transducers. Experimental results are presented that confirm the validity of this model.
