Abstract :
Accuracy achievable in estimation of an unknown parameter \\theta is considered when the intensity function of an observed Poisson process is given as \\alpha + \\beta f(t - \\theta) , where \\alpha and \\beta are known positive constants and f is a step function or a rectangular pulse.
