Abstract
The paper describes a simple lumped-circuit model of coupling between any two coaxial cables in a system of n coaxial cables ¿¿ at a corner, in an open rectangular duct, or in a closed rectangular duct. Theoretical predictions of coupling made using measured values of ZT, the surface transfer impedance of the braid, are compared with experimental results. The benefits of grounded enclosing planes on coupling are discussed.
